This appears to be a vintage Italian figurine & base, possibly a Shepard dog, Egyptian Sphinx / Bastet or ?? carved from semi-precious stone, likely alabaster or marble, and set on an onyx or marble base. The figurine's material could be alabaster or marble, given its white, slightly translucent appearance. The base appears to be made of a banded stone, possibly onyx or another type of marble. Some white blemish marks on both parts. However the detailed carving, highlights the craftsmanship involved in creating such pieces. No chips etc., aged on corners, in vg vintage condition for age. Approx 7”x5”x5”.
